Everyone should feel comfortable on their Homecourt.

Home is where your biggest fans reside.

As a child, I always enjoyed the thrill of life. I was the kid that wanted to sit in the front seat of the rollercoaster ride. As we ’d approach the most pivotal moment of the rollercoaster, (the big drop) I’d dare myself to keep my eyes open to not miss the moment! With enjoyment of the adrenaline high, I participated in various sports growing up and loved the grit and tenacity that sports teach you. Also, not to mention fanfare on your homecourt is unmatched!

While participating in sports taught me many life lessons, such as discipline, perseverance, accountability and how to overcome defeat. It all led me to pursue my true passion, interior design.

After practices, I’d return home and jump into my bed and start flipping through home magazines, rearranging my bedroom furniture (weekly) and of course watching home improvement TV shows! I loved everything about my room. I’d vacuum daily, steamed my bedding and made sure it was always smelling good. My room was perfect...just disregard the millions of nail holes in the walls (sorry Mom & Dad) 😊

Now, let’s fast forward into my adult years. After earning my undergrad degree, I was working in life insurance. On my lunch breaks, I’d continue study design and yearned for a chance to showcase my creativity. I asked myself “what happened to me?” “When did I suddenly want to live life by playing it safe?” “What happen to that little thrill seeker?”

At that moment, the fearlessness returned.

I was no longer afraid of failing or fearing the uncertainty of life. I decided I was going to follow my dreams.

In that pursuit of happiness, I was able to acquire an Executive Design Assistant position for an elite Interior Designer in my hometown. After assisting for a few years and learning the industry, I became a Designer at the firm and worked on projects independently.

Now, with a humble heart and ambitious spirit, I have decided to launch my own company and do it from my home, homecourt!
